GUI development starts with the creation of the primary handler generate_vserver_list.pl - which for a decade would remain the cornerpiece of Aventurin{e}.

GUI development starts with the creation of the primary handler generate_vserver_list.pl - which for ten years would remain one of the most important core pieces of code of Aventurin{e}. Basically the handler reads a vzlist dump, parses VPS config files and template directories and nices it up. Then it stores the needed information into CODB - the database backend of the GUI. The handler and the required schema files evolved alot during the development period, though. 

However, even to this day I'm pretty proud of that particular piece of work. It helped to kick off things pretty quickly in a very efficient fashion.
