As some of you were aware: The development of Aventurin{e} 6109R had been put on hold to explore the possibility of switching from OpenVZ 6 straight to LXC or LXD instead of pursuing OpenVZ 7. Here are our findings.

Todays updates for 6108R add the long awaited and overdue IPv6 support for the node and VPS's.

Aventurin{e} 6108R has been extended with an (optional) API. This API can be used in conjunction with our Aventurin{e} WHMCS module to provision VPS's via WHMCS.

After a grueling effort the ISO image for the installation of "Aventurin{e} - Clustering" was finished today.

Although not being much into occultism I couldn't help but to find it the most fitting to make a Friday the 13th the day that I released around 400 patches to all existing Aventurin{e} customers.

After a small development break (sickness and time constrains) the first release candidate of Aventurin{e} is rolled up.

More clients willing to take on Aventurin{e} volunteered as beta-testers. Encouraged by the success of the first productive Aventurin{e} install we took them on.

Today we rolled up the first fully working ISO image of Aventurin{e} that installed both the base OS, OpenVZ, the GUI and the first OS-templates.

Ok. It's not ready yet. Hell, we don't even have an ISO image that installs everything. Uhm ... did I mention it also has bugs? You want it nonetheless? Rrrrrrighto!

First developer tarball that globally gave the GUI the current look and feel and which introduced the Aventurin{e} images.

Today we had the first fully working draft of the GUI interface ready. Compared to what you can see nowadays it was still kinda basic, though.

GUI development starts with the creation of the primary handler generate_vserver_list.pl - which for a decade would remain the cornerpiece of Aventurin{e}.

Brian rolled up the first "mini-1.0.iso", which installed the basic CentOS and OpenVZ and a trimmed down BlueQuartz interface.
