6109R: KVM support added
We just added KVM support to Aventurin{e} 6109R.
At this time the Qemu KVM support for Aventurin{e} 6109R is still a bit rudimentary.
However: It's possible to create a VM via the GUI, to install the OS into that VM via an ISO image from the directory /vz/ISOs/ and then use VNC to manage the installation of the OS.
Once a VM has been created, only its basic settings can be administered via the GUI, but the whole host of configuration options can still be performed from the command line.
Please note:
As is we're not recommending to use Aventurin{e} 6109R to run more than the occasional test VM. The preferred virtualization method should be CT (Container).
In our experience using Aventurin{e} 6109R with Qemu VMs dramatically slows down the handling of the node.
